Y5 have been looking at lots of different ways that we can use Maths around the school, these are just some of the things that we have been doing.
In Mr. Donnelly's Maths group, we have been doing lots of activities to show how much we have learned so far this year.
We have gone on learning walks to look for angles around the school, seeing where acute and obtuse angles appear in everyday objects. Using lollysticks has helped us to solve problems and show how we can form Roman numerals as well as regular and irregular shapes. Our class has also completed an assault course where we can only move in 90 degree turns, directed by our classmates, this was very tricky!
