Sainsbury's School Games Level 2 Runners Up.
Three teams were entered into the recent Slough Level 2 hockey tournament. The 27 children were selected from an initial try out, which had over 70 children attend. A super attitude by all the CPS players was rewarded with one of the teams progressing to the semi-finals.
After a close game against Lynch Hill in the group stage the two teams met again in the semi-final. This was again a very close and entertaining match with it eventually going to a penalty shoot-out. The CPS players (and the supporters!) held their nerve, won the penalty shoot-out and progressed to the final.
Here they met the Lynch Hill A team. After a close start to the match Lynch Hill finally broke through the resolute defence and ultimately won the game.
A silver medal is a great achievement from the tournament that consisted of 19 teams.
