Y4 Swanage trip Thursday 17th March 2016
This morning began well with a coach whisking us off to Corfe Castle. Our tutors taught us all about the history of the castle and the brave Lady Mary Bankes who defended the castle during the English Civil War. After a short visit to the shops in the village, we embarked on the renowned hike from Corfe. As we trekked over the Nine Barrow Downs we drank in the gorgeous views and basked in the glorious weather. The children undertook the hike with the bravery of the defenders of the castle and make it back to the Chatsworth Centre beaming with smiles. The evening disco brought more good times with the children thoroughly enjoying themselves. Everyone has had a spectacular week, but we are looking forward to coming home. A ParentPay text will be sent as we get closer to Cippenham. See you on Friday!
