Please Note: 'The School Admissions Code 2021 has expanded the definition of previously looked after children to include those children who were in state care outside of England but who were then adopted. The Cippenham School has varied it's admission arrangements as such for 2021/22 and 2022/23 in line with paragraph 3.6 of the Code to ensure compliance. The following addition should be taken into consideration under the Admissions Criteria of the 2021/22 and 2022/23 policies:

'A child who was previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangement order, or special guardianship order. This includes children who appear to the admission authority to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in care as a result of being adopted. Proof of eligibility will be required.'
