Lets all keep on being kind to each other and to ourselves, you have all done so well.
Friday 16th July 2020- a day to remember.
The last stars of year 3 are Bella-Louise for her independence with learning this week when making her model. Makoto in 3 Thistle for his excellent work this week. Katerina for her high standard of work during the lockdown and Eliza for her continued work on reading eggpress and TTRS in 3 Shamrock.
For 3 Daffodil and 3 Rose a big thank you to all of the children who have sent work in but the stars of the week are all the parents who have supported their children with their learning from home under such difficult circumstances.
Well done year 3, you have all been amazing, keep up with learning the new skills and enjoy your summer, we will miss you all.
Miss Mash and the year 3 team
Good Morning Year 3
Today is our final day of learning together as year 3 and it is true to say that we miss you very much but that it is also a strange day as we will not see lots of you now until September. However it is a very exciting time as well as you are getting ready to move to year 4 and we will see you all around the new look school when you come back. It is also exciting as we reveal the answers to the quiz and set the last maths family challenge and then this afternoon the final star of the week
We hope that you now all have your reports and that you liked the little pictures we had made for you, we thought it was a good option as you wouldn't get to see us. Now you can look at us all the time !!!!!!
Each of the teachers wanted to send you a goodbye message, so please read on...
It has been a strange year for all of us and unfortunately we have not been able to get back to school before the end of the year. Up until the school closed you were a pleasure to teach and throughout the absence I have been so impressed by the independent learning you have been doing at home. Have a relaxing summer holiday because you deserve it and good luck in Year 4. You can't get rid of me that easily as I will see you in the playground every morning from September
See you then
Hi Year 3!
What a surreal and extraordinary time we have experienced over the past few months. I hope you have gained some positivity from it and it will be full of happy memories to look back on in years to come.
We are all so proud of each and every one you, the work you have sent us has been fabulous and your positivity and happiness has shone through. Whether it has been work we have set you or something new you have learned at home, we have enjoyed seeing it all. This could be a great stepping stone to keep up the cooking, new hobbies and family fun time you have experienced during lock down and carry this on throughout the summer and beyond.
We’re sad we haven’t been able to say goodbye to all of you, as we would have loved to, but we will see every one of you in September, pop in and say hello when you can!
Keep smiling and stay safe over the summer holidays!
Hi year 3!
I just wanted to say how proud of you I am for all you have achieved and overcome this year. I have missed you all lots and cannot wait to see you in September. I wish you all the best for year 4, continue to aim high and always believe in yourselves.
Have a wonderful summer, see you all soon.
Miss Barber 😊 xx
Dearest 3 Daffodil,
I am so sad that we won’t be together as a class again as I have truly loved being your teacher. I am so proud of each and everyone of you, as you are all so determined to succeed and be the best possible version of you. Thank you for all the awesome memories we made as a class; I will always think of you fondly whenever I hear the 12 days of Christmas ......“that’s me!”
You all have so much great potential and I genuinely wish you all the best as you go into year 4.
Have a fantastic summer break and I look forward to seeing you when we can all safely be back at school.
Stay safe and take care,
Miss Smith 🤩
Hello year 3,
Just wanted to say how great it has been to work with you this year, whether in class or any of the bubbles in lock down. I hope you have a lovely, relaxing summer and I will look forward to seeing you all next year when we will be in year 4
Year 3 you have been amazing, I am so proud of you working so hard in school and at home under such unusual circumstances. You have been inspirational to me and have kept me going on my days when I was feeling a bit sad. You guys have kept us smiling and are a constant reminder why we wanted to be teachers in the first place. Have a fabulous summer and enjoy a break, you all deserve it, and get ready for the excitement of a September in year 4, I will really miss you all.
It has been amazing being able to keep in touch via class dojo and be able to reward the work you choose to share with us. As today is the last day of the school term, our class dojo will be 'graduating' this afternoon. This means it will be closed down for the summer. So if you have any messages or need anything before the end of term from your class teacher, please get in touch today before 2.45 today as the classes graduate between 3 and 4.
Take care and stay safe,
Miss Mash and the Year 3 Team.
If you have any problems; let your teacher know via Class Dojo or alternatively send Miss Mash an e-mail via firstname.lastname@example.org.
